As I ventured out into the small business world, I found that there is a plethora of information that is not easily digestible. I spent one year going back and forth between small business centers, Veteran business centers, women business centers, PTACs, SBA, and I utilized it as a resource. The more I researched the
tasks required to get started, the more disheartened and demotivated I became.
The amount of information enamored me.

Naturally, my OCD for processes kicked in as I imagined the number of people discouraged daily by feeling overwhelmed. I also found that some paid organizations do exist that set out toprovide business consulting services. However, most startups do not have an extensive budget to pay the fees associated with these services. This newfound problem caused me to shift my focus from supporting established businesses
and organizations to helping startups and entrepreneurs. I get to let them know that they are not in this alone, and you don’t have to give up any equity in your
company!
